katedra makromolekulární fyziky

Our Department educates students in Master Study Program "Physics of Condensed Systems and Materials" and doctoral students in Doctoral Study Program "Physics of Macromolecular and Biological Structures". Macromolecular specialisation begins in the 3rd study year of general physics. Students acquire good knowledge about chemical and physical structure and properties of macromolecules and systems formed from them. Computer processing of results and simulating of molecular structures are parts of the study. Students can focus also on the study of electrical and photoelectrical properties of semiconductor materials and structures. Methodical area is sophisticated - graduates of our specialisation know most of modern experimental methods used in our domain, more theoretically oriented graduates acquire good knowledge of modern parts of thermodynamics, statistical physics, quantum chemistry and of computing methods. Topics of thesis and dissertations are set by the areas of the scientific activity of our Department (see page for students).

Program of Seminar on Polymer Physics (in Czech).

In SIS, you can find an overview of courses tought by members of our department.
